Nominee's Bio: Mr.Maruf Mohammed is the founder and the Executive director of Green Focus Africa Foundation and also the CEO of Epsilon Farms. He is a citizen activist,a community organizer and a advocate for environmental action and social justice.He is highly driven for innovation and works in approaches to solve problems and develop ideas for sustainable development. His works focus on SDG 1,2,6,7,11,13,14,15.As the CEO of Epsilon Farms, he has been turning food waste in to animal feed and organic compost for greenhouse farmers and also produce maggots as supplementary feed for poultry and fish farmers.He has also participated in UN climate change conferences and Workshop organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization.
