Nominee's Bio: Feminine Star Africa is a non-profit organisation that provides social interventions through education, mentoring, seminars and scholarships for women and girls. Over the years, the organization has been focused on improving education and empowering women and girls. The organisation was founded in 2016 and has since empowered over 10,000 beneficiaries through various programs and projects. Through Girls Education Support Project, Feminine Star Africa has provided over 100 scholarship to girls from less privileged homes to further their education in the tertiary and high schools. The organisation has provided 10 mini computer labs and libraries to rural schools where they are most needed. Feminine Star Africa has provided informal education for over 100 young women who drooped out of school to learn various skills including fashion designing, bead designing and hair dressing. The organisation has organised life transforming seminars in over 50 Basic and Senior High Schools in the Volta and Oti regions impacting 9,000 students. Feminine Star Africa designed and hosted radio shows to educate, empower and inspire children and the youth. The organisation also initiated a project called Write Evolution Story Writing Competition which engaged High School Students to write short stories and best 10 stories were published into an anthology to stock libraries in rural schools as supplementary readers.
